The village of Lefkimi is about twenty minutes from Alexandroupoli. Lefkimi, a picturesque village, surrounded by the beauties of nature, is located on the edge of the protected forest of Dadia in the centre of Evros Prefecture and has as its trademark one of the most beautiful churches of the prefecture, the Holy Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary. It is 47 km away from Alexandroupoli. Due to its privileged location, Lefkimmi is a centre of escape from the urban fabric and a lung for exploring two exceptional ecosystems, both the Evros Delta and the forest of Dadia.
