Stone Bridges Featured: Stamatis Bridge, Papa Bridge and Bridge with Water Mill in Kariofito
The Rema Bridge is located 3 km north of the Rema settlement, at the site known as Tsetak. The Kotyli Bridge is a lovely single-arched stone bridge near Kotyli, in the Pester area. The Dimario Bridge is situated in the Moustani area, 1,000 meters before reaching the village. The Bridge at Outpost 42 (No. 1) was built in 1916 during the Bulgarian occupation of Thrace. The Bridge at Outpost 42 (No. 2) lies north of the previous bridge and was constructed in 1917. The Bridge at Outpost 42 (No. 3) stands directly in front of the outpost, which is now abandoned. The Bridges at Outpost 42 (No. 4 and No. 5) were likely built by Bulgarians with the help of local residents. They are situated along the old road leading to Bulgaria. The small bridge between Dimario and Kotyli once served as a junction along the path connecting the two villages. The small bridge between Melivoia and Dimario is located approximately 1,000 meters from the turnoff to Outpost 42, on the provincial road from Melivoia to Dimario.
