In 1995, for the first time, the Community of Kastanies in Evros hosted a gathering for both young and old, supported by the General Secretariat for Youth and the Hellenic Organization of Football Prognostics (OPAP). Organized by visionary individuals with great enthusiasm, it garnered strong support from the local community. With free entry during its first two years, the event successfully evolved and was established, from 1997 onwards, as a five-day gathering. Its growing popularity led to the introduction of organized camping, which increasingly filled the area year by year. The vision of creating a music festival that would attract a diverse range of musical cultures became a reality. Numerous well-known, established artists, alongside emerging performers and unforgettable bands, drew thousands of visitors to the area of Kastanies, transforming it into a vibrant hub of activity and music
