Komotini Opera House
The Komotini Concert Hall is the third Concert Hall in Greece, alongside those in Athens and Thessaloniki. It is a true cultural gem, which in recent years has been embraced by some of the largest artistic institutions both in Greece and abroad. Situated north of the city of Komotini in the Agia Varvara area, the project was designed by the renowned architect Nikos Valsamakis. The mission of the Concert Hall is to provide both Greek and international audiences with high-quality productions, featuring operas, ballets, operettas, recitals, concerts, theatrical performances, film screenings, and art exhibitions. Additionally, it aims to serve as a supportive space for all local cultural institutions and as a hub for organising scientific conferences across various fields.
