Thermal Baths of Thermes
Situated to the northeast of Xanthi, near the Greek-Bulgarian border, the Thermal Baths of Thermes are tucked away in the lush mountains of the Rhodope mountains. These baths are part of the small Pomak settlement of Loutra Thermon, which falls within the community of Thermes in the Municipality of Myki. The village derives its name from these thermal springs. The water temperature ranges from 40°C to 53°C and is often blended with cold water for a more relaxing experience. The waters are low in salt content and contain small amounts of carbon dioxide and methane.
